What we collect
When you use our contact, demo or trial forms we collect the details you enter: your name, work email, company, and optionally your phone number, region, fleet size and your message. We also record the type of enquiry, the date and time, and your IP address. We do not ask for sensitive personal data and ask you not to include any in your message.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. If we add analytics in future we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Spam protection
To protect our forms from automated spam we check submissions using your IP address, the time taken to complete the form and the email domain you provide. Where enabled, the form may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information about your browser to tell people and bots apart. This is covered by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
How we use your data
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry; arrange demos, trials or services you ask for; send you a confirmation that we received your message; keep a record of our correspondence; and protect our website from abuse. Our legal basis is your consent when you submit the form and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is handled by Yuga Ports staff. We use trusted service providers to run this website: Hostinger (website hosting, email and database) and, where enabled, Cloudflare (spam protection). They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose data where required by law. Our providers may store data outside your country; where they do, we rely on their contractual and security safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer (in which case your contract terms apply) or the law requires us to keep it longer. Spam-protection records are kept for a few hours to days.
Security
Our website is served over HTTPS, form data is stored in a password-protected database that is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the EU/UK, the GDPR) you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to how we use it. Email contact@yugaports.com and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
